The Coach “Bo” Award is given to a camper who has displayed a dedication and commitment to learning the game of basketball.

This award is dedicated to the founder of ALLBALL Jim “Bo” Boyle. Coach Bo had love and passion for the game of basketball. We strive to keep his spirit alive each week of camp by presenting this award to a camper that shares Coach Bo’s love and passion for the game.

Jim “Bo” Boyle

Bo has played, coached and taught basketball all over the world at every level. Once an all-star for Philadelphia’s 1959 West Catholic team, Bo went on to play for Saint Joseph’s University, and later coached the school’s team for over a decade. A member of both the Saint Joseph’s University and the Philadelphia Big 5 Hall of Fame, Bo is a Philly roundball legend.

Following his NCAA coaching career, Bo served as an assistant coach for the Denver Nuggets, then as a scout for the Washington and New Jersey franchises. Outside the NBA, Bo has spent considerable time coaching and developing programs and players in the United States, Europe, China, Japan and South America.
